great access to gloucester quays and beautiful parks nearby
I loved how close I was to Gloucester Quays and the scenic walk to St Michael's Tower, made for an enjoyable weekend of exploring the area. Although the hotel had a comfy bed, some maintenance issues could be addressed for a better overall experience.

Family with children really should think twice
So, the place had a decent selection of ales kind of nice for a pint after a long day. I had my kids in tow and they enjoyed the jukebox which kept them entertained while I tried to relax.
It wasn't exactly a bargain for what was offered though, felt a bit let down overall.

We were disappointed that there was no on-site parking available. during our stay, the sewerage smell on the stairs leading up to the rooms was quite strong, which caused some discomfort.
